Catholic School day.

On Catholic Schools Day St Pius School invited St Joseph from Orakei over to come and celebrate Catholic School’s Day.

In the morning we had a Mass and that was followed by lunch and a concert, We all went into the hall to share our items. Room Seven went first and they sang “Let It Go’. After that it was the st Joseph turn to  do a dance or a song so they did a song called “ You can Count on Me”  by Bruno Mars. Some songs came from St Pius X school and some from St Joseph’s.

We finished the concert singing the African song so that the St Joseph’s people could go out and go back to school. When we finished singing we all went back to class.

i had a wonderful day with St Joseph’s it was the best day ever.

My Water Story

Maths Refleection

In maths I learnt about Maths Whizz, it was fun because I learnt about my time tables and my addition and my subtraction. On Xtra Maths I learn about my addition too. The  answers are easy, it was fun.
I am in a group called Terrific Triangles, I like  learning because I love learning my addition and time table and my subtraction is cool to learn so I can try hard.
In Addition and Subtraction I am on Stage 4.

My Pencil

My learning tool is long and sharp, it is made with wood. There is a lead in the pencil so that we can draw on paper.

My learning instrument has a long lead so it is easy to draw but sometimes when it breaks it kind of gets annoying. It feels hard and it is seen it in offices.

My drawing friend can draw and write and it does a lot of things for me. It is good to use a pencil because you can use it for school and for your homework.

My Pencil is special and strong like a rock, because when I am holding my rock I can be really creative with it.

my mother

My mum’s name is Nesi and she has looked after my little baby brother and me all our lives.

She acts like a normal mother and she doesn’t eat McDonald’s but she likes KFC. She has black hair and dark brown eyes like the colour brown. She looks after me and she cares about me.

My mother helps me do the dishes and she helps do my homework and my spelling. She buys food for me when I get hungry and she helps me clean the house when I get back home.

My mum is special because she helps us do our homework.
